It'S good thing to have tags on your website,blog or on your post webpage on internet.

Also it's bad without them!

Often i open the page of some awesome tutorial blog and scroll down to the bottom of the webpage to find out that there are no tags or that is badly tagged..

Tagging is important because it brings to your site traffic of viewers that is very important for many users who wants their site to be visited & viewed.

It brings people to your site who have the same interests and helps get connected in easy way with the help of search engines of Google.com and Bing.com.

How many tags to use?  

Well depends on the website you post and the content of your post,

there are websites who allows you to write 50 tags,and other 30 tags,someone says there are no need of more then 15 tags to get attraction.

Bad action is when you write 100 tags and loose your time & when time is coming to publish your work online you find out that you can't save,publish your work..just because you have TO MANY TAGS,and you have to delete some of them! (i have been there!)

The tags are tool to get noticed your post soon as is your work   published and seen on search engines page online.

Tagging 

I assume that the posts you want to upload or write (video,blog,story,photos) is about story or person ,situation,game etc.

you have to write the name,to be very specific and detailed about the subject,write the names and everything about if it's about popular person,object.

To be  very exact helps you to come in front of many other posters in that webpage with their posts,uploads and make for others to find you in much easy way!

then i recommend as last choice(for someone as first) you can use the Keyword web page http://keywordtool.io/ to helps you making optimized tags

in quick way then you can imagine and help you get more traffic

to your site in matter of seconds.

Just write the one word and the page can generate many

tags(words)about the theme you are interested,and click the search button.

Just choose wisely and don't put more tags then allowed(50,30,15 tags)

The META TAGS 
I personally prefer the meta tags
here  how you can do the trick
open your blog and go to Template tab

Click on Edit HTML and find the code

<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
under this code and in middle of meta content write your tags about your blog contents,after you copy this and delete the red letters. for example..

<meta content='Abstract ,still ,nature paintings i love' name='description'/>
<meta content='paintings of flowers,paintings tumblr,paintings for kids,paintings on canvas,paintings of heaven,paintings by van gogh,paintings abstract,paintings art,paintings acrylic,paintings and drawings,paintings amazon,paintings a source of history' name='keywords'/>

<meta content='Atom news' name='author'/>

OR SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND..
